What Does Hope and Faith Mean to You?

Hope and faith , I'll admit mean different things to different people.

But if you can open your eyes and your heart to the power of hope and faith that only God can provide and it's profound impact in how to meditate and pray.

And... you just may be pleasantly surprised to discover the impact that hope and faith can have in your own spiritual growth and walk with God.

Why you need Hope and Faith in Your Life NOW

If you’re like most people in the world, you're deeply concerned about the state of global economic affairs.

Are you worrying how you are going to make ends meet, worrying about your current job and career goals on hold?

Are you worrying about losing your job due to the bad economy and when you will ever be given another job interview >

if you are worried and full of fear how you are going to keep your home, and plan for your children's college planning , then you are not alone.

What is your plan B? in life, when everything that can go wrong did go wrong. When you have no one-else to turn to that will listen?

God is here , but you must be willing to call to Him iwth a contrite, remorseful and sinful heart. Only by being reconciled to God, by being born again as a Christian believer can God have any part with us. Ask God for His unconditional forgiveness .

If you want to fully know how to succeed and how to be happy in finding real and lasting contentment and peace in your life-you first need to find God.

Don’t worry, I’m not going to preach to you and force upon you my “ faith and spiritual views , and Christian point of view which shape my values, and world views, through a Christian perspective. I make no apologies if my Christian Faith offends or disappoints you. I believe in speaking the truth founded on the Word of God.

If the Lord our God should touch your heart as a believer, Praise Be to God, as I am but the messenger, but the Lord is the message -called the living Word found in the bible.

Did you ever stop to think about the letters that comprise the word FAITH?

FELLOWSHIP:

Fellowship, is nothing more than worshiping and praising God through prayer. You don’t need a Priest, a Rabbi, or an Imam in understanding how to meditate to God. Just as with business communication on the job, you just need to communicate direcly through prayer to the Lord our God Himself. Seek out other fellow believers and fellowship with other believers so your faith in the Lord and grow.

First acknowledge your sinful state as a lost sinner, and ask for His forgiveness in forgiving you of your sins, and believing in Him as your Lord and personal Savior. My question to you is this: What assurance do you have right now that should you die tonight you will go to heaven? Think about this eternal question...

What proof do you have? you will go to heaven? Death and dying is real. Heaven and Hell are real destinations where every human being who has ever been born from Adam and Eve to the present age, will spend their eternity based upon their personal acceptance and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ as thier personal Lord and Savior after this life is over.

The bible clearly states in Romans 3:23 “All have sinned and have fallen short of the Glory of God” John 3:16 states: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, Or his only begotten Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

ADORATION:

Adoration is self explanatory but as Christian believers, we are too worship and adore our Lord our God for who HE is-the Creator of All. God is the Great IAM-Jesus Christ is the Great I AM.

Jesus Christ claimed to be the “I AM.” It is the personal name of the God of the Old Testament (Exodus 3:13-14). On several occasions it is recorded that Jesus used the “I AM” formula in attesting to His deity. He claimed to be the LORD God, Jehovah, Yahweh. The greatest of all the names for the Lord Jesus Christ is the “I AM.”

Deuteronomy 4:24 NIV states "For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. As believers we are commanded to believe only in the Lord God Himself-have no other gods but the Lord Jehovah who is Lord of ALL.

INTERSESSORY PRAYER:

How is your prayer life? Maybe this is just the element that is missing in your personal and professional life. As fellow Christian believers, we are required to pray to the Lord our God daily, and consistently. I can say this, I do pray every day and my daily talk with the Lord is instrumental in helping me daily. Life is tough on a regular basis just living day in and day out, providing for your family.

I find tremendous comfort knowing that God is waiting-He is just waiting to hear your prayers too. One of my favorite bible verses that has tremendously helped me from when I was down, and it seemed like the weight of the entire world was on my shoulders, is 1 Peter 5-7: “Cast all your worries and cares upon HIM, for He Careth for you.” Commit to a consistent prayer life, and notice what changes you see in your life and how God responds and does answer prayers in His time and according to His will for your life.

THANKSGIVING:

Be joyous in all things, this is hard at times, I’ll admit, after all we are all human, however the power of prayer and the hope and faith that God does freely give for those who ask, is real and genuine and gives me hope.

As Christians we are too be joyous and glad in all things, does this mean you are to be happy when someone in your family is stricken ill, or when you suddenly lose your job and your dreams go down the toilet? Of course not....Nobody is happy as a clam jumping up and down when bad things happen to us-myself included here, but we are too be faithful trusting in God’s provision to turn the impossible into impossibilities in yours and my life.

It is through the tough times of our lives when we can experience real spiritual growth , which is instrumental in your character development. This is where FAITH comes in, and you and your FAITH will grow as we are all tested at times. It’s called Christian maturity which develops your character. How can you and I ever grow if we are never tested from time to time?

HIS WILL:

What is God’s will, what is HIS will for you and your life? Only God knows the answer to this age old question. Your job is to seek HIS Will for your life, ask him to provide the discernment and wisdom in your life so you can be affective in decision making in your life.

God did not make junk! HE created you with a specific purpose and has equipped you with specific tasks, that HE wants you to do. Sometimes, we find out that what we want to do in our lives is not God’s plan for our lives at all, and we have to surrender all to gain all for his Glory.

Is it easy, no it is not, carrying God’s cross is never easy, but He will equip you with the Strength and Power that you need in living your life for Him. Trusting and Obeying the Lord regardless of your situation is what the Christian faith is all about. Remember: Faith begins where human understanding ends..

Remember: ”The only Unfulfilled Goals in Your Life are the Ones you Never Attempt”
