in life requires a lot more than brains, luck, and personal drive, It requires a winning attitude mixed with an ample amount of humility. I want to challenge your world view thinking of how to get successful, how to become sucessful and how to succeed in life means to you.
Take a look around you; you see the world’s view of success all around, from the CEO with the limitless bank account, the high roller on wall street making millions, to your neighbor down the road who has over extended themselves credit wise with the two car garage, million dollar property with two BMWs parked in the driveway. Maybe you can identify with this as well.... I would argue that this is the world’s view and assessment of how to become successful . I challenge you to think differently-by not accepting and endorsing a very superficial and shallow world view of how to succeed, and become successful in life... How To Succeed in Life First Begins on the Inside of Your Heart...
I know many will disagree with me here, maybe even you-yourself as well to an extent. That’s ok...we can agree to disagree...I want to let you in on a little secret-I do not conform to the world’s materialistic world view of success in life and neither should you. How to become successful in life- first and foremost begins on the inside of your heart. The true measure of how to be successful for a man (or a woman)- is what is found on the inside in your heart not what the world sees regarding your social status and worldly possessions. How to become successful from a biblical perspective-is the amount of God that people see in you, and how you live your life. You see the accumulation of superficial material possessions, fame, and status are here for only a short time, and will soon fade away and exist no more. This is the world’s limited worldview of how to get successful in life. How to succeed in life first and foremost begins on the inside of your heart. This is the basic foundation for success that the world can only hope to learn and hope to understand that I hope you can more intimately grasp and learn to comprehend. You see the accumulation of superficial material possessions, fame, and status are here for only a short time, and will soon fade away and exist no more. This is the world’s view of how to be successful ... But... who you are on the inside of your heart-the real you, the passionate caring person with ideas, aspirations and dreams…that God created for you to carry out to positively impact and affect others, and to impart your love and carrying attitude to all that you come in contact..this is how to become successful... You see how to succeed, and how to become successful in your life is measured by your attitude and humility in your life, not your Bank Account, Professional or Social status in your life. How to become successful-and I mean real success comes from within your heart-and who you are as a human being; how you care for and treat your spouse, family and children. It is how you act towards and treat others in your generosity, your stewardship to God and to others, your actions and words that determine how to be successful and how to succeed in life. You see-you can acquire all the riches of the entire world, but if you fail on the inside regarding your attitude and your heart towards God, and how you relate to people with whom you love and care about, and how you treat others….then you have failed...period. How to be successful requires a genuine act of humility on your part and willingness to have empathy for and towards others in a non-selfish way. How to be successful means putting others and your family's needs before your own wants and needs. When you think of success, and how to becme successful, think of the actual letters of the word SUCCESS think and reflect how your attitude and your heart measure up to the acronym SUCCESS: SERVING How much in your life is reflected in serving others first before your own needs? How well do you serve your family's needs, or the widow down the street? Are you a constant taker or do you genuinely >strong>serve and contribute? UNDERSTANDING How understanding are you of others needs, circumstances and situations? If you see somebody on the street in need, do you pass them by thinking someone else will take care of them-or do you stop to see what assistance you can provide in trying to understand because you do not want to get involved…? COMPASSION Are you compassionate to your spouse’s and or family's needs and circumstances? How do you measure up in this area? How do you measure up being compassionate to others either in your neighborhood, village or work/office setting? COMMITMENT How committed are you in being there for your family, your spouse, your parents, or your friends? Do you put your words into action, by doing, getting involved in trying to help others or do you just talk a god game completely void of action on your part? EMPATHY Do you have genuine empathy and concern for your spouse, family, others that you come in contact with and associate with or... do you try to avoid getting involved at all thinking and hoping someone else will help? SINCERITY Do you demonstrate a genuine spirit of sincerity in your actions, or are you quick to disengage yourself from any involvement whatsoever? SELFLESSNESS Are you genuinely concerned and put others needs and priorities ahead of your own-or are you
selfish
in nature? How do you measure up in this area of your life in truly putting others need ahead of yours? Only you and God can answer these questions how to succeed, how to become successful,and how to get successful ibn life and what improvements you need to make
