Judgement & Enlightenment Requires having Hope and Faith

Hebrews 5:14 But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.

Effective judgement and enlightenment is something that every human being on this planet is searching for.

However, the reality is that no one seems to have found exactly what they are looking for in mastering the art of discernment and proper judgement in one's life. How about you?

You can have a hundred people all given the same facts and information about something that they all need an immediate action in order to hopefully make informed and effective decision making task. No doubt all these people will probably end up make different decisions yielding differing outcomes with the exact information provided.

Effective Judgement and Discernment Leads to Spiritual Growth

Life can be down right crazy at times. People today live in a very frightening world and are consumed by fear . How about you?

Everyone is racing to and fro from work, pursuing their career goals , their college planning , or maybe your business goals pursuits in life.

And in the course of a day you are faced with many decisions. Some maybe minor but some others are big, and depending what action you decided upon will determine if you have learned how to succeed , or if your decision making task ends in dismal failures like so many do.

About Me , I am a Christian believer in the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I firmly believe-that apart from God in your life as your personal savior you will be severely limited, not only in your personal effectiveness in life but in your professional life as well. Whether you believe and accept as fact or not, your your decisions in your life-to a larger extend-reflect your values in your life (both good bad or indifferent)

True wisdom, discernment, enlightenment, and might I add character development and spiritual growth , can only occur when your heart is right with God. Man in his sinful nature is wicked and lost and has his place with God.

Only by being born again, as a believer in Jesus Christ, are you able to experience spiritual discernment, and have the wisdom, insight and discerning knowledge in all of your decision making. True wisdom, and enlightenment comes from the Word of God found in the Holy scriptures-called the bible.

Discernment Requires Faith and Obedience to God...

Ok, you’re child of God, now what you may ask? You must learn how to meditate , praying to God and asking God for wisdom and discernment. Discernment like anything else in life requires time and self discipline.

God doesn’t just zap you, and suddenly you are filled with all the discernment and judgement in life you will ever need. God doesn’t work that way. You must be willing to do your part; spending time in prayer, reading the bible, and seeking out other believers with whom you can pray with. God desires successful relationships with all mankind.

Also, with every decision that you enact upon to do, regardless of the decision that is to be made will yield a specific outcome (good, bad or indifferent). It is your job to apply discernment and effective judgement in all discerning situations. However, many people will go through life without giving their decision a second thought as if flipping a coin to decide what to do in your life. Judgement and decision making should not be delegated to chance , but to think, pray and reflect upon all outcomes.

Life is about discerning your action steps you need to take before you take by seeking the wisdom to discern in making the correct decision now. Write down the pros and the cons to potential outcomes from your decision making, carefully assessing, and examining all possible outcomes.

Discernment Requires Seeking the Wisdom and Counsel of Others..

It is also highly advisable to discuss and communicate with others-specifically, fellow Godly believers who you trust and can confide in.

Whether you are preparing for a job interview , and you are writing a new cover letter for your new job, the actions you take today will leave lasting consequences for all your future tomorrows.

Think about it.
