How Are You Doing in Setting Goals?

Do you realize that only 3% of people in our society know anything about setting goals ?

But do you also realize that 3% accomplishes more in setting goals than the other 97% combined!

That drives the point home doesn't it? It's obvious..Knowing how to set goals need not be a difficult and labor intensive process. You just need the proper self discipline and self motivation.

My job is not to think and do decision making for you, that is for you to decide.

My job is to help you build your own "Goal Setting Road-Map" for your life.

This way, you will be equipped with the empowerment in setting goals for life and to develop and implement your own goal setting strategies as you prioritize your personal mission statement for your life.

The first thing you must do is to sit down brain storm your ideas and to list your ideas into two separate columns: Short term vs. Long Term-only then will you be able to make some organizational sense based upon immediate needs vs. wants in identifying your course of action as you begin your goal setting activities.

You've got to have passion, self discipline , and the self motivation , in brain storming your ideas.

You do have a specific desire to improve your overall outlook in life-correct? Where do you want to go and live? What do you want to do? You've got to think through these questions in prioritizing for yourself where you want to go and be 1-2-5 years down life's path. Do you have specific career goals or business goals in mind? Do you have entrepreneurship aspirations?

Rule# 1: Put your thoughts and career goals and ideas on paper

Put down all your ideas on paper. Only when you see it in front of you will your subconscious really believe to manifest your reality. Always carry a pen with you so you can jot down ideas which become the "secret nuggets" that open up this invisible door-way for opportunities.

But you've got to have the hope and faith in God and in your God given abilities in seeing your goals become reality through your creative visualization process.

Rule# 2: Manifest Destiny-or the way I look to refer to it: MAN-I-FEST Your Destiny!

If you don't believe you can-guess what-you won't-and you'll end up like the 97% of the minions who hold on to "Could-da-Should-da-Would-da"! STOP....You are different-you're here reading this page aren't you? Put your objectives on paper and believe in yourself not in your past or your future failures in life. If you Believe it you CAN Achieve it! But you've got to have the faith first to believe you WILL....

Rule# 3: Develop the Creative Visualization

After you have finalized your short term vs. long term goal setting and action plan, put it someplace where you'll be able to see it on a daily basis, and use creative visualization to see your goals in front of you. Place your list on your bathroom mirror, your computer desk at work. The idea is to put down on paper your list and believe in yourself so you can accomplish your goals.

Rule# 4: If you can think it-you can believe it!

This is so true.

Is it any wonder why only 3% of people know anything about setting goals, but that 3% accomplishes more than the other 97% combined!

Are the other 97% of these people idiots?

What separates the 3% successful people from the 97% non-successful people?

Is it their DNA? No the truth is it is their positive attitude , and their self motivation in knowing how to succeed at all costs.

Now it is your turn. Don't allow inaction and procrastination keep you from achieving your smart goals in life.

You just need the self discipline and the self improvement in taking action in your setting goals plan. Your life is waiting....

Remember: ”The only Unfulfilled Goals in Your Life are the Ones you Never Attempt”
