Language learning has substantially changed and evolved over the last 30 years.

About Me , I only wish this technology had been available when I was in high school during the late 1970s. I minored in French in college, but having lived and worked in India for one year and 2 years in Bangladesh, I have completely forgotten my French. However I can now speak, read and write Hindi and I can also speak Bengali.

Why am I telling you this? It is not to impress you with my foreign language skills- hardly. I’m telling you this because anyone can learn a foreign language and contrary to what you may have heard regarding language study-it doesn’t take rocket science-just time and commitment on your part.

Language studies does require the necessary time commitment, self-discipline , self-motivation , and you must have a goal plan in order to make it happen. You must develop and apply sound time management tips , daily or weekly, in keeping you focused. Whether you spend 15 minutes a day or an hour a week is unimportant so long as you stick with a schedule and hold yourself accountable.
