How are you Developing in Your Spiritual Growth and Walk with the Lord? How is the state of your spiritual growth Are you as close to God as you need to be in your life? Has your spiritual growth and spiritual development affected your previous successful relationships? How about your once your once happy marriage? How about in your job as your pursue your career goals or your business goals pursuits in life? These are very important questions that every human being on this planet can ill afford not to pay attention. Otherwise you risk suffering many failures both in this life and eternal life that is to come. About me , the one thing I have learned is apart from God, man is nothing. We can do nothing apart from God’s will in our respective lives. My hope and faith in God above is what sustains me day in and day out. Learning how to meditate and pray unto God are absolute necessities and are as apart of my every day life as food, water and oxygen are required for life on this earth. If you want to know the secret to life in knowing , how to succeed begins first with successful relationships with God in your life.
Spiritual Growth and Spiritual Development Requires Developing Successful Relationships with God Apart from God in your life, in fellowship with Him as the personal God of Your life, you cannot experience spiritual growth and spiritual development. Christian faith and your faith in God requires that all mankind enter into a personal relationship with God, and that can only happen by first accepting the Lord Jesus Christ Himself as your personal Savior of your life. There is no other way. The world will have you to believe that all religions lead to the same destination-but that is Satan’s lie. Acts: 4:12 states; there is no name in heaven, or under heaven by which we must be saved. The Lord Jesus Christ died for all mankind. Pray and ask God to come into your life now for tomorrow may never come for you or anyone else. Pray and Read the Word of God Daily In order to develop and grow in the Christian faith, it is imperative that you spend ample time daily, in studying the Word of God. Just as you would spend learning a new language with proper language learning and time management tips , in keeping you focused in foreign language development, so true in developing your spiritual development and spiritual growth in studying what the bible says as well. It is also important to get involved and join a local church or prayer group where you live. Christian fellowship is important for nurturing spiritual growth and spiritual development for all believers. There is power in number in believers, fellow believers can provide a love and support when you are experiencing sadness in your own life, and can cheer and lift you up when you are down. If you are ever in the Washington, DC metro area, you are more than welcome to be my guest at our church which is Capital Baptist Church, Spiritual Growth Requires Financial Stewardship to God This may be a difficult concept to understand, but God desires 100% obedience in all aspects of our life-including our stewardship and financial resources. Genesis 28:20-22 After the vision of God’s renewed covenant, Jacob initiates a covenant with God vowing to give him a tithe of what he receives from the promised land. This is a strong biblical command in that we are to give to God our tithes out of our love, willingness and obedience to God. God who is Lord of all Creation and owner of all; deservingly should receive from us our tithes, out of heartfelt obedience to him. We are commanded to give at least 10% of our monies. For some-this may be hard to do, practice in giving something now with the idea of giving up to 10% at some point. Its is better to give something than nothing, but always give with a cheerful heart. How to be happy results from putting God first and foremost in your life. Remember: ”The only Unfulfilled Goals in Your Life are the Ones you Never Attempt” |
